Black Justice Mural at Fruitvale Village

Mural painted with acrylic house paint, rollers, and brushes at Fruitvale Village in Oakland, Ca.

Painted in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter, the mural features a portrait inspired by George Floyd and a young black boy in the role of Justice against a heavenly landscape.

Space for this mural was provided by Unity Council and the work was exhibited briefly at Peralta Hacienda Historical Park. It was also printed in the book Painting the Streets, published by Nomadic Press.
